Mom you gave me birth
And sung beautiful lullaby
You hung me in your arms
And soothed me whenever I cried

You always made me pleased
With Your affection kind and sweet
Your tender warmth and touch
Made your love reveal

You discovered the best in me
And taught me the life’s way
You gave me strength and power
To face the world today

You gave me everything
When and where I needed
You never said no to me
For whatever I pleaded

You know everything
You are really Devine
Your warming gentle touch
Is deliberately beautiful and kind

Of all the beautiful things you have done to me
I know I will never be able to repay
But here I have something for you to say-

Mom I promise-
I will give you all my love
And support you always
Be it near or far
I would care for you always
I will never let you down
I would fulfill all your dreams
I will try to be a better daughter
And above all –“a better human being”
